Normani Shuts Down Claims She No Longer Has ‘Motivation’ to Make
Normani does not tolerate comments about her work ethic.
On Tuesday (August 9), the singer responded harshly to Twitter users who believed she was no longer passionate about her musical endeavours.

"I don't know where Normani's motives (no pun intended) went, but I just don't see the same passion from her as I used to," said the tweet, which was listed as private. "Before you start, it's not depression, don't even go there!" A second user responded to the first user's tweet, writing, "Get comfortable What would happen if I left HUNGR?"
Furious at her comment, Normani jumped into the conversation, to which she simply replied, "Just shut up."
The comment comes amid fan discontent with her Normani schedule of her music releases. The singer has yet to announce a release date for her debut album. Since she released her debut solo single "Motivation" in 2019, Normani has released her two solo her tracks.
The Fifth Harmony singer has appeared on Megan Thee Stallion's Diamonds from her Birds of Prey soundtrack in 2020 and most recently on Calvin Harris' single New to You and DJ Funk Wav Bounces Vol. Appeared in Tinashe and Offset.
There's still no firm update on when Normani's debut LP will be released, but the singer said in her December interview with Ciara on Ellen's DeGeneres Show that her set in the studio was "almost ready." It's done," I promised.
